Stressed? Maybe

Okay, I already told you all that I am going to prom, Right?
Well, I am already kind of, sort of {stressed}.
I found a dress that I think is gorgeous but I am not sure what my mom will think.
It is most definitely not like all the other prom dresses that the girls wear.
Poofy, long, too much glitter, the whole nine yards.
It is simple, short, white, and me.
I am already imagining what my hair, jewelry will look like and what not.
It is not that expensive so it is not like I am spending 200-300$ on a dress I will not wear ever again, and that will just be shoved way back in my closet and never to see the light of day again.

But this is all IF I go, I still haven't answered back yet.
How can I compete with what he did?
I just can't.
My parent's weren't to thrilled to come into my room to see how he asked me and then lo and behold, see knives through stuffed animals.
I'm a little nervous, what if I say no?
